BYOD

Bring your own device (BYOD) is becoming a commonplace practice in NZ schools to further support students’ learning. Our recommended device is an Apple iPad, as this device works seamlessly with our software and allows us to load all of the educational apps that your child will need at school.

Please note that Matapu School will:

• Cover the costs of all the educational apps that your child needs to use at school
• Provide your child with an iPad case that includes a keyboard while they attend Matapu School

Of course, you can buy an Apple iPad from any retailer, but please make sure that it is the latest version (not second hand or refurbished) as this may affect how it works with our software management system.
