Enrolment Scheme

Enrolment at Matapu School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office. 

In 2022 there will be four enrolment periods. The first enrolment period runs from 1st February to 14th April. The deadline for out-of-zone applications for this period has closed. The advertising for future out-of-zone applications in enrolment periods 2 – 4 will be posted in the school newsletter.

Parents of students who live within the home zone and intend to enroll their child at any time during 2022 should notify us at their earliest convenience to assist the school to plan appropriately for 2022. 

Out of zone applications can be made by visiting the school office and applying in writing.

If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
